SearchCactus.com is the most efficient and cost-effective way to drive targeted traffic to your Web site. We provide our advertisers with multiple platforms for reaching their target audience whether through our paid search results listings, banner advertising, or through our unique, targeted Direct E-Mail system.

2. What security measures does SearchCactus.com have in place to protect advertisers?

SearchCactus.com has been developed from the ground-up with the security of our members and advertisers in mind. Proprietary anti-fraud measures have been programmed into the back-end of the site in order to protect our members and advertisers. For example, members' accounts are only credited for a specific number of paid site visits per day. This eliminates the opportunity for members to run spiders and other artificial traffic generators solely for the purpose of defrauding the site and accumulating commissions.

We also protect our advertisers by monitoring all traffic to individual advertisers' sites. Merchants will only have their accounts debited on the first visit within a 24 hour period by a specific member, meaning members can not continue to click on an advertisers listing and quickly drain that advertisers account.

3. What types of advertising programs are offered?

We currently offer our advertisers three different programs for reaching their target audience.

Advertisers can have their sites listed in the SearchCactus.com search engine. You select the search terms that are relevant to your site and then determine how much you are willing to pay on a per-click basis for each of those search terms. The higher your "bid," the higher in the search results your site appears. In addition, advertisers receive the average demographic information of visitors to their sites.

A second means of reaching your target audience is through one of our banner advertising programs. Advertisers can choose general Run-Of-Site (ROS) programs that will rotate their banner throughout the site, or they may choose our targeted keyword program whereby their banner will be displayed when a user enters a specific search term that the advertiser has purchased. When the user enters that particular search term, the advertisers banner will be displayed on the search results page.

A third way of reaching your target audience is through our direct e-mail system. This system allows our advertisers to send highly targeted messages to our members.

Finally, advertisers can choose our Cost Per Action/Acquisition (CPA) advertising program. Whether you want our users to join your program, fill out an application, or download some new software, SearchCactus can deliver this with our new CPA advertising program. CPA advertising is a very cost-effective method of advertising that delivers instant results. Advertisers only pay when an action has been completed on the advertisers site.

4. What is the Direct E-Mail feature?

The Direct E-Mail feature allows our advertisers to send direct targeted mailings to our members. Advertisers can query our up-to-the-minute database based on the particular demographic profile they are targeting. After selecting the demographic profile, simply type your message, and SearchCactus will send out the advertising campaign for you. Also, SearchCactus can track the response of your advertising campaign by providing you with the click-thru rate of the direct targeted e-mail.

5. How do I get my site listed?

6. How much does it cost?

Advertisers that list their sites on SearchCactus.com only pay for actual visitors (click-thru's) to their site. A minimum advertising deposit of $25.00 is required to open up an advertising account. The minimum bid is $0.02 to be listed in the SearchCactus.com search engine. Remember, that we are currently offering our advertisers a 20% bonus to your initial deposit with SearchCactus.com.

7. Can I change my bid price?

Absolutely! Advertisers can login to the Advertiser Control Panel and update their site information, change their keywords, check stats, and change their bid prices all in real-time.

8. What if another advertiser has the same bid price as I do?

Advertisers with the same bid price will be listed vertically within the page based upon which advertiser was listed with SearchCactus first. Remember, the quicker you sign up, the better chance you have to be listed higher within the search results page.

9. How do I update my information?

Advertisers can login to the Advertiser Control Panel and update their site information, change their keywords, and check their stats.
